WHAT MAKES A GOOD INFORMATION BOOK? 

A good information book requires a certain amount of information and facts about the topic, it also requires accurate and quality pictures/photos. It needs to have correct facts (not opinions) and descriptive writing so the reader knows exactly what you are talking about. It shouldn’t be boring and dull, it should have fun facts and colour and if it’s set out like a  story it should be full of figurative language and things that make you want to read more! 

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE SHORTLISTED BOOK AND WHY? 

My favourite shortlisted book was waves.  Waves was my favourite book for a few reasons one of them being that the illustrations were phenomenal! Also I loved how the pages looked like paper form the olden days. My favourite part about the book is all the little stories it involves, on every page there were small stories about certain people.
